Rock 01 version 2: Strange thing - if I turn off atmosphere in Bryce2 it produces a colour that looks very much like Marathons transparency-colour. Otherwise this image is rather boring.

Rock 02 version 2: I don't know what kind of rock you imagine. I did one that partialy uses the same texture as the moonscape and such. You might or might not have noticed that I started using a lower quality setting for the jpegs recently - but Fireworks produces very good jpegs with only 90% quality which are half the size of the 100% Photoshop versions.
